Artists and paper go together.
I majored in handmade paper when I studied at The Alberta College of Art and Design. I love paper and I especially love it when artists find new ways of using it. We often have stashes of the stuff, masterpieces that sit on shelves, in drawers and portfolios. It's been a dream of mine to offer up our tiny affordable works and so I'm curating my second annual paper show.
nostalgia and process is what this month is about.
Do you remember buying little boxes of valentines when you were a child? or folding craft paper in half to make hearts? What about spirograph? bring your family into our creative space and make things for your true love for the whole month of February.... make a wish and clip it on our cherry tree.
watercolors, sketches, collage, sketchbooks
